In part two of our discussion of basic communist subjects and history, Lachlan takes us through the formation of the first communist state in the 20th century. We find out what Lenin’s contribution to the ‘Communist Doctrine’ is, as well as how the Soviet state functioned. Stalin’s totalitarian rule is explained as a kind of foreshadowing to some of the policies that the Khmer Rouge will enact.
